Galerie Zygos

A native of San Francisco, Leslie Abrahams studied Art in Rome, at the Scuola Libera of the Academia de Belli Arti and obtained her B.F.A. from the Accademia de Belli Arti. Other studies include Painting at the California College of Arts, Oakland, CA and printmaking at the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC.

Her work is in major private collections such as those of the late actress Audrey Hepburn and writer Kitty Kelly.

She has received numerous awards and honors over the years, including the Gold Medal for Engraving, Galeria Paolina, Rome; a Ford Foundation Scholarship to the California College of Arts, Oakland, CA, and the Scholastic Art Award, The Emporium, San Francisco, CA.
