Galerie Zygos

Syni Anastasiadi was born in Alexandroupolis, in 1947. She studied drawing at Eukleidis School of Thessaloniki while she attended painting lessons by artists P. Rengos and A. Minopoulos. She also got involved with ceramics and silkscreen printing.  Between 1982 and 1983 she studied mixed media in Vienna, Austria. Since 1996 she lives in Alexandroupolis where she maintains her studio, while she has also created the exhibition space “Aithousa Syni”.

Among the several critiques on her work we will mention those by Panayotis Mitiletsis, Thanassis Tzoulis, Ector Kaknavatos, Dora Eliopoulou Rogan, Ioannis Galeridis, and Anna Hatzigiannaki.

Works by Anastasiadi can be found in several public and private collections in Greece, Canada, Spain, Germany, France, Romania and Luxemburg.

She has had many solo shows of her work and is associated with Galerie Zygos of Athens, (1988, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2002, 2004) and Galerie Terzo of Berlin, (1990, 1991, 1999, 2002, 2008).
