Galerie Zygos

During a visit to a collector's home with the purpose of evaluating and cataloguing some of his artwork, I stumbled upon some work I could not identify, yet it was excitingly fresh and original. In response to my inquiry, the collector "confessed" that the work belonged to his 16-year old daughter, and more than that, this was "older" work, done beteen the ages of 6 to 14.

Althoughy it is against my principles to exhibit work of very young artists who have not yet found their mark and direction in art, I decided it was time for an exception. So, Galerie Zygos presents a 15-day mini-solo-show of Eyridice, protecting her full identity so that we do not contribute to a "stardome" either on her part or from the part of the artloving public, and we are anxiously waiting to see how her work will develop with time, especially since she is committed to attending Art in her near future.
