Born in Athens, in 1958, Tita Stavrou studied Art with painter Pavlos Vlahos. During 1978 and 1979 she studied art in Berlin. In 1983 she had her first solo show at “Ohima” bookstore, and in 1986 at “Ora Cultutal Center”. In 2007 she had her solo show at Galerie Zygos, Athens. Parallel to painting, she worked in decorative and applied arts and the publishing industry till 1996. From 1999 through 2006 she taught visual arts at the “Paremvasi” rehabilitation program. Since 1995 she lives and works at Rafina, a few miles North-East of Athens.
