Effie Vazirgiantziki was born in Athens. She studied Drawing under G. Drossos (1962-1963), and then attended the 1st Year of The Athens School of Fine Arts under Nikos Nikolaou (1963-1964). She subsequently studied at the A.T.I. (Doxiades) Institute, under A. Tassos, P. Gravalos, I. Dekoulakos, G. Georgiadis, P. Zoumboulakis, E. Economidou and St. Lydakis.
